"For anyone who has never tasted the flavor of San Francisco house, have a slurp of this. This sound represents the city's vast diversity and influences. It resonates a deep, chunky and palpable bass, while the swirling variants of
super funk and groovy jazz give ita downright dope feel. Vasili's composition includes SF house staples Miguel Migs and Rasoul,
along with other moversand shakers including Count Zero, Tony, Onionz and Francois K. This will transport you to one of those infamous SF poolside parties or deep down into dark, sweaty basement thatjust won't stop."

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE (03/01/05)
Vasili Gavre
THE SIGHT UNSEEN
After several months in the studio working on his album project, Vasili is ready to release his debut e.p. THE SIGHT UNSEEN, which resonates with Williamsburg’s indie rock influences as well as his San Francisco house music roots. THE SIGHT UNSEEN is forward thinking with popular appeal for the dance floor and all worldwide joy riders.
Vasili Gavre-Wareham, originally from San Francisco, moved to New York in 2002, and since then, he has been contributing to the City's exploding musical talents -- DJing in New York’s most obscure and luxurious venues. His charismatic energy and musical talents led him to create his own material, after working with artists like Mark-Alan Gray (loveslap!), Rick Preston (¡Viva!) and remixing Kaskade’s “Sweet Love”. THE SIGHT UNSEEN expresses thoughtful songwriting, complex layered arrangements and sophisticated musicality, which can be appreciated by both the underground and pop world.
01: Do You Have A Girlfriend? 5:41 ©
Features the soulful voice of Emily Ann Smith singing a song we can all understand and a melody you will not forget. The infectious beat drops the bass deep and the keys high making this a pop hit without losing face!
02: I Hear Your Voice 6:02 ©
Features the seductive voice of Canadian born Daniella, with a defining chorus melody that will leave you singing it all night long and bass line hooks by Barcelona native Celer as well as a beautiful trumpet solo by Takuya from Ism Records.
03: Your Leavin’ 6:48 ©
Features Yellow Recordings artist from France Sophie B in a sentimental sound-scape dappled with a feel good 1980’s synth line and a classic “Vasili” Rhodes keyboard hook.
04: I Forgot Your Name 6:14 ©
Features male vocals by Peter Sax and lyrics that are so honest it’s hard to admit you can relate to them! The music bounces with 3 different bass lines, a rap lead which puts you in the seat of hydraulic Chevy Impala and a ripping guitar solo reminiscing of Carlos Santana.
